McKenzie is a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHAII) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADCII) providing service to fellow Oregonians. McKenzie maintains her passion for serving marginalized and underserved populations as developed through her combined career experiences of providing harm reduction-focused addiction care, behavioral addiction care, acute mental health crisis work, jail diversion services, and mental health care in outpatient settings, residential mental health facilities, comprehensive treatment centers, and emergency departments.

McKenzie leans on both professional and lived experiences to provide specialized care to those with integrated co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders with additional training in problem gambling, behavioral addictions, eating disorders, and caring for LGBTQIA2S+ identifying folks.

As a Counselor, McKenzie provides trauma-informed, connection-embodied care from a foundational belief in people’s endless capacity to heal. She utilizes an overall wellness focused approach to connect to her client’s whole experience and support them in creating safety, balance, and reconnection to themselves, their relationships, and their communities.
