Jordan
Finding the right therapist can be an incredibly difficult and vulnerable process. Jordan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist that takes seriously the work of genuinely connecting with and accepting his clients regardless of their background or the challenges that they are facing. He recognizes that addiction is often a symptom of something larger happening in a client’s life, and takes a treatment approach that addresses both the underlying mental health conditions as well as the biological and physical challenges that come with addiction to support clients towards their goals.
Jordan has been professionally trained in using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy techniques and enjoys encouraging his clients to utilize practical skills to support their mental health goals. Along with having experience treating clients with addiction, Jordan also has experience supporting clients dealing with Depression and Anxiety disorders, personality disorders such as Borderline and Narcissistic Personality Disorder, Trauma, challenges that come with an Autism diagnosis, anger management, and impulsive behaviors. Jordan also enjoys using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindful somatic techniques to support his clients, and he will tailor his therapeutic approach to the unique needs of each client.
Ultimately, Jordan works to ensure that his clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to take the steps they need towards the life they hope for. Therapy is often full of ups and downs, but he hopes to be a supportive guide along that path.
