Elaina
Elaina, LMFT, is a therapist at Anonymous Health, specializing in supporting individuals struggling with addiction, substance abuse, and co-occurring mental health challenges. Born and raised in California, Elaina developed an early passion for helping others through her experiences witnessing the profound impact of emotional connection and healing. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and went on to complete her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy at Antioch University.
Elaina’s career began as a research assistant at UCLA’s Integrated Substance Abuse Lab, where she contributed to studies comparing traditional treatments for substance use disorders with innovative methods integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This foundation sparked her dedication to combining evidence-based practices with a deeply empathetic and individualized approach to care.
Over the past several years, Elaina has worked in various therapeutic settings, including residential treatment care, where she facilitated process groups, psychoeducation sessions, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) groups. She has also gained specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), which have proven to be powerful tools in helping her clients heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, and self-limiting beliefs.
Elaina’s approach is rooted in psychodynamic, relational, and trauma-informed frameworks. She is passionate about guiding clients through the process of uncovering the underlying causes of their struggles, helping them build resilience, and empowering them to create meaningful change in their lives. She believes that healing begins in a space of safety, connection, and authenticity, where individuals can explore their fears, address their pain, and envision a brighter future.
In her work at Anonymous Health, Elaina is committed to supporting clients on their journey to recovery and well-being. She strives to ensure that each individual feels seen, valued, and understood, fostering an environment where growth and transformation are possible.
