Laney began her healthcare career at Intel, where she led the formation of Care Innovations, a joint venture between Intel and GE Healthcare focused on remote patient monitoring and telehealth. As Vice President of Operations at Care Innovations, she helped bring care into patients' homes and later drove operational strategy for decentralized clinical trials and patient-centric services.
